Buddy Hooks is a supporting character in the film Jeepers Creepers 3, played by Chester Rushing. He is the love interest of Addison Brandon and works at his father's farming supply business.
Biography[]
He first appears at his family farm supply store where Addie visits to get some hay for her horse, Rocket. Buddy's father refuses to give her any as her grandmother's farm has bad credit and an unpaid tab on the business. Addie walks away disappointed and Buddy, having a romantic interest in her, offers to pay for the hay. His dad tells him he can do better than her. He takes the truck with some hay and catches up to Addie and follows her to the farm to feed the horse. After feeding her horse, he invites Addie to accompany him on deliveries he has to run. When they approach their delivery destination, they find the owner and his workers hiding under their trucks and are warned to leave. However, they are too late as the Creeper shows up and flips over the trucks the workers are hiding under and abducts and kills of few of them one-by-one. One of the workers runs at Buddy's truck during the attack and urges him to leave before being killed and bleeds on the driver side window.

The Creeper approaches Buddy's truck, wiping the blood with his finger to see Buddy and Addie and sniffs them out. He first looks at Buddy but then turns his head to Addie, showing an interest in her. The Creeper jumps from the driver's side to the passenger and breaks through the door and abducts Addie, traumatizing Buddy. He is seen returning to the farm feeling shocked and regretful that he let the Creeper take her as he sat there frozen in horror. Later, Addie was able to escape and was found by Buddy and her grandmother, Gaylen.

He is last seen in the end, he visits Addie once more with her horse, Rocket, relocated, since the Creeper was going to come to the farm looking for her as well as his severed hand that her deceased uncle stole from it. Buddy kisses her as he leaves to board the bus from the second film as he is on the Bannon Bantams basketball team on the way to the championship game. He plans not to take the bus back and stay with family who live close by where the game is taking place.

- Because he chose to stay with family in the area of the championship game, his character did not appear and was not referenced in Jeepers Creepers 2.
- Had Buddy been a character present in Jeepers Creepers 2, he could have already been able to warn everyone on the bus about the Creeper before even Minxie Hayes gets her psychic connection with the deceased victims.
