Coach Charlie Hanna is the head coach of the Bannon Bantams basketball team in Jeepers Creepers 2 along with Dwayne Barnes. He was taken by the Creeper and killed off-screen. He is played by Thom Gossom, Jr.

He had a minor presence in the beginning of the second film. He is the lead coach of the Bannon Bantams basketball team, who recently won the state championship. When the bus gets a flat the first time, he with his assistant Coach Dwayne Barnes and bus driver Betty Borman investigate. They found a handcrafted shuriken rip through the rear tire, much to their surprise considering the thickness of the tires. After Betty cuts herself trying to get it out, Coach Hanna pulled it out and quickly dropped it after getting startled by the weapon having a tooth on it. Upon Barnes's further inspection of the weapon, he believes it's also made of ivory or bone. Charlie tells him to toss it before he needs a tetanus shot. While everyone was taking a break off the bus, he catches the cheerleaders, Minxie Hayes, Rhonda Truitt, and Chelsea Farmer as he smells them smoking. He lectures them and orders them back on the bus. After over an hour of being unable to reach help, the adults decided they could limp home and rounded up everyone back on the bus.
At night, the bus gets fully disabled after the twin tire on the rear gets punctured. As Betty ordered everyone off the bus, Charlie gets flares from her lockbox and gets ready to set them around the bus. Hanna then spots a station wagon coming from the opposite direction and flags the driver. The driver was asking if he can help push the bus, instead, Charlie asks him to find the nearest highway patrol or get to the nearest phone for help. After the station wagon leaves, Charlie sets up the flares around the bus while Barnes and Betty investigate the second puncture.
Death[]
Barnes and Betty pull out and discovers a shuriken similar to the one that punctured the twin early on. Betty realizes in horror that this time, the shuriken is crafted from a bellybutton, although she does not know whose. Meanwhile, Charlie continues to set flares to perimeter the bus; Betty tells Barnes she has a bad feeling and that they need to get everyone back on the bus with the doors closed. While she is talking to Barnes about it, they hear Coach Hanna's scream as he gets abducted by the Creeper. No one saw what happened but only look in the direction of his scream to see the flare being dropped where he was standing.
He is the first of the adult characters to be abducted and killed by the Creeper off-screen before Betty and Barnes are shortly after.
